Adam Fisher spent 11 years in law enforcement, developing specialized experience in impaired-driving investigations and serving as a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) instructor. His work included evaluating drivers suspected of alcohol or drug impairment, administering standardized field sobriety tests, reviewing evidence, and documenting investigative conclusions.

Adam also spent years instructing law enforcement officers at every level—from new recruits at the police academy to officers attending advanced impaired-driving programs, including Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) and DRE School. At his former police agency, he became its first Drug Recognition Expert, founded the agency’s DRE Unit, and authored the unit’s standard operating procedure.

Today, Adam applies that training and experience on behalf of defense attorneys. Through Fisher DUI Consulting, he independently examines police reports, body-worn camera footage, cruiser video, SFST administration, DRE evaluations, testing records, and other available evidence.

His role is not to advocate for a predetermined conclusion. It is to determine whether the investigation, procedures, documentation, and resulting opinions are supported by the evidence.
