Case File Analysis & Consultation

Comprehensive review of police reports, body-worn camera footage, cruiser video, photographs, recordings, testing records, and other available discovery, followed by a private telephone or video consultation regarding the strengths, weaknesses, and technical issues identified. A written report is not required.


SFST & HGN Analysis

Detailed evaluation of standardized field sobriety testing, including testing conditions, instructions, demonstrations, administration, scoring, documentation, and adherence to applicable NHTSA training. Analysis may include HGN, Walk-and-Turn, One-Leg Stand, and other roadside testing.


DRE & Drug-Impaired Driving Analysis

Review of Drug Recognition Expert evaluations and drug-impaired driving investigations, including the DRE protocol, physiological observations, psychophysical testing, symptomatology, toxicology findings, timelines, and consistency between the officer’s conclusions and documented evidence.

Examination of the complete investigative sequence—from reported driving behavior and the traffic stop through personal contact, officer observations, questioning, roadside testing, arrest decisions, and chemical-testing evidence. Reports are compared against available recordings for omissions, inconsistencies, and unsupported conclusions.

Clear, organized expert findings supported by relevant training materials and professional experience. Services may include written findings reports, attorney conferences, identification of potential cross-examination issues, review of supplemental materials, and ongoing case consultation.

Independent expert consultation and testimony concerning impaired-driving investigations, SFST administration, DRE evaluations, officer training and procedures, documentation, and investigative conclusions within the scope of training and experience.


Attorney Training & CLE
